SIGHTSEEING PLACE TO GO SEE, DO AND EAT OUTSIDE OF DETROIT, MI

Enjoying spending time with our son.  We learned that Tim Horton coffee doughnut shops far out weigh our http://www.thehenryford.org/village/index.aspx

Dunkin Doughnuts in NJ.  Diners here are called Coney Islands and their main attraction is --guess the Hot dog, although they have standard diner fare.  I enjoyed a Chicken gyro with fries the night we went.  Spent the day at Greenfield Village in Dearborn.  Really cool museum...being as wealthy as he was, Henry Ford actually purchased entire historic buildings had them dismantled and put back together in the village.   Very interesting place  . Plan on spending an entire day here  and you still will not see it all.  It cost $50 for the two of us to get in for the day.  Then if you want to take a carriage ride, old fashion working steam locomotive train ride or a ride in a model T it was an extra $5 per person .  They also have an old fashion carousel for the kids.  Saw many home school families the day we were there.
